We are open for private groups of up to 8 guests for a cooking class or up to 12 guests for a Walk Amongst the Weeds meal, on a date and time that suits you.
+++
Operating under a COVID-19 safe plan for Jacican means that only one group booking per cooking class can be taken. All guests in any Jacican cooking class will be in the same group booking. Class group sizes are between 2 and 8 guests with Walk Amongst the weeds accommodating up to 12 guests for a sit-down meal.
This is unless otherwise agreed by Jacican. A valid vaccination certificate will need to be sighted for each guest
If you would like to book a class larger than 8 or would like a different date than the dates listed, please contact Jacican directly.
Where possible Jacican cooking classes will be held outdoors in the kitchen garden. This has limited the cooking classes we can offer for the time being, as there is no access to the ovens as they are located in the teaching kitchen.

Acknowledgment of country
Hello, I’m Jaci Hicken, from the lands of the Brataualung clan, which is where I’ve spent most of my life.
I would like to acknowledge all of us here today to cook together and share a meal.
I love sharing my dream of growing the food this country has to offer and share it with you.
The traditional place that we come together today is on the lands Gunaikurnai people
And I’d like to pay my respects to our elders past, present, emerging leaders, along with all the young people in our community.
